Solas & Dorcha offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. If it is not possible to obtain full payment for the goods from you, then we can refuse to process your order and/or suspend any further orders to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have.
A mileage charge of 45p a mile is chargable for bookings made over 10 miles outside of Dirleton, East Lothian.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products & services are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any products or services (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of products or services.

If you sign up to our newsletter we may use your email address to send you information about products or services.
You can opt out of these at any point.
We may use the information you provide us to monitor trends internally and to improve our service & product offering. We will not sell or pass on your data.
HOME INTERIOR HOLISTIC COLOUR CONSULTANCY – 1 ROOM

The Home interior holistic colour consultancy is charged at £75.00 per hour and is payable at the time of booking. For this fee Solas and Dorcha Consultant will visit to your home and complete a questionnaire with you and then access your room visually to allow her to discuss colour schemes with you..

In the event that the service takes place over 5 miles outside of Dirleton then travel expenses will be payable at 45p per mile.

Solas and Dorcha will discuss you and your families colour preferences, health and wellbeing. Solas and Dorcha will also discuss the room and function. Aesthetics will be accessed to suggest natural paint options to enhance your wellbeing and room from Solas and Dorchas chosen paint charts.

The minimum booking time is one hour. If your consultation lasts less than one hour no refund shall be made. If it lasts more than one hour an additional charge may incur and should be paid at the time of the consultation prior to the additional time being delivered.

The Colour Consultation Service is a holistic and aesthetic service only, providing advice in relation to a colour scheme for one room only.The cost of paint or trades is not included in the hourly fee.

Following the consultation an e mail will be sent to you with the chosen paint choices.

Please note cancellations/change of consultation date/time can be made up to 2 business days prior to the appointment date. If the consultation is cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment, no refund will be made. If the consultation is moved within 48 hours of the appointment, no refund will be given and a charge made for the next appointment.

Please ensure you are fully satisfied with the proposed colour choice before the consultation finishes. In the event that you dislike a colour choice, Solas and Dorcha cannot be held responsible.

Solas and Dorcha will use reasonable endeavours to attend on the day and time agreed. However, Solas and Dorcha shall not be liable in relation to any matter (e.g. cancelled appointments or late arrival for an appointment) where such default arises as a result of any event outside their reasonable control including (but not limited to) travel disruption.
HOME HOLISTIC COLOUR AND STYLE CONSULTANCY – 1 ROOM

The Home interior holistic colour consultancy is charged at £125.00 and is payable at the time of booking. For this fee Solas and Dorcha Consultant will visit to your home and complete a series of questionnaires with you and then access your wardrobe. Body measurements will be taken. A full written report will be provided to you following the consultation. The report will identify :- Your soul and identity colour, your seasonal colouring and how it can benefit you holistically, your body shape, aryvedic body type.

Solas and Dorcha will discuss you and your colour preferences, health and wellbeing, body shape and body measurements,

The minimum booking time is one hour. If your consultation lasts less than one hour no refund shall be made. A written report of my findings will be e mailed to you following the consultation.

The Colour and Style Consultation Service is a holistic and aesthetic service only.

Following the consultation an e mail will be sent to you with the full written report.

Please note cancellations/change of consultation date/time can be made up to 1 business days prior to the appointment date. If the consultation is cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment, no refund will be made. If the consultation is moved within 24 hours of the appointment, no refund will be given and a charge made for the next appointment.

In the event that you are unhappy with the e mailed report, Solas and Dorcha cannot be held responsible.

Solas and Dorcha will use reasonable endeavours to attend on the day and time agreed. However, Solas and Dorcha shall not be liable in relation to any matter (e.g. cancelled appointments or late arrival for an appointment) where such default arises as a result of any event outside their reasonable control including (but not limited to) travel disruption.
REIKI WITH COLOUR IDENTITY REPORT –

The Home interior holistic colour consultancy is charged at £75.00 per hour and a half and is payable at the time of booking. For this fee Solas and Dorcha Consultant will visit to your home and complete a questionnaire with you and then provide you with a reiki treatment. Folllowing the treatment your colour identity report will be e mailed to you

In the event that the service takes place over 5 miles outside of Dirleton then travel expenses will be payable at 45p per mile.

Solas and Dorcha will discuss you colour preferences and health and wellbeing followed by a reiki treatment.

The minimum booking time is one hour 30 mins. If it lasts more than one hour an additional charge may incur and should be paid at the time of the consultation prior to the additional time being delivered.

Following the service an e mail will be sent to you with your colour identity report

* Once an online, written or verbal booking has been accepted by Solas & Dorcha, the client will have entered into an agreement to have a service or treatment based on the following terms and conditions.

Payment - We respectfully ask that clients make payment via Paypal before or the time of treatment, thank you. Non payment will result in no treatment. If paying online please use your name as reference.

Cancellations - A minimum of 24 hours notice is required from the start of a client's treatment appointment time if a change or cancellation is to be made to the appointment time or date and a charge not incurred. Payment for each treatment is required in full if the session is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or the client fails to attend.

Discretionary waiver of charges for missed/ changed appointments - Changing or rebooking an appointment, for no extra charge, within 24 hours of the appointment date and time, is discretionary and will only be undertaken for emergency

Prices - The prices listed are subject to change without prior notification.

Refusing to treat - We have the right to refuse or discontinue a service or treatment at any point. Circumstances where this may apply include, but are not limited to:

The client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs

Recent surgery
-
The client behaves in an inappropriate or offensive manner

The client is or becomes unwell e.g. fever, digestive upset, allergic reaction, seizure, fainting
-
A client is under care for a medical issue that is a contraindication for therapy, this will be discussed during consultation

Children - Solas & Dorcha are aware that Children may be present during a service. We respectfully ask that you inform us of any children that may be present as this will affect the overall enjoyment of the service. Solas and Dorcha are not responsible for any delays or disruption this may cause to the booked service and time allocation due to the client having to attend to children. Solas and Dorcha strongly advise that you seek alternative childcare for your booked service.

Medical Issues - Treatments and services conducted by Solas & Dorcha are not a substitute for proper medical diagnosis and treatment. At no time will a client be encouraged to stop medical treatment or reduce or change their prescription drugs without prior discussion with a GP or consultant first. It is also the client’s responsibility to consult with their GP and get approval before any treatments can commence.

Personal Information - During a client’s treatment consultation we will need to collect personal information which is important for our client-therapist relationship and will be used to tailor treatments and services. This information is strictly confidential. We will maintain its accuracy by updating it as advised by the client.

Sensitive Information - We may at times address specific personal issues, challenges or general conditions in a client’s life or profession. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential with the exception of any information which, if withheld, may result in danger to the client or others. All communication taking place during services is confidential, subject to certain provisions; Solas & Dorcha are not at liberty to withhold information from the police. Solas & Dorcha is required to inform the authorities if there is a possibility that you or a member of the public is at risk. Parts of your conversation may be referred to during supervision, a requirement for registered therapists, although your name or any identifying details would not be disclosed

Guarantees - There are several complex factors influencing the success of individual therapy, whilst benefits are typically observed in the majority of cases, there can be no guarantees of success or cure in relation to a condition or its treatment, reference CHNC guidelines. If you refer to an upsetting experience, you may feel uncomfortable, you may feel worse when addressing an issue, typically this improves as your therapy and healing journey progresses. Your feelings are natural and related to your perception of your experience.

Except as expressly set out in these terms and conditions, Solas and Dorcha shall be liable for any loss or damage including consequential losses (e.g. any additional contractor costs) howsoever arising as a result of (a) Solas and Dorchas advice or (b) any delayed or cancelled appointment beyond the value of the fees paid by the client. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by Scottish Law and any dispute arising under or in connection with them shall be decided by the Scottish Courts.
